iBird United Kingdom and Ireland Pro, the world’s most popular identification app for birds of the UK, has released Version 10.06. The latest enhancements include two powerful features: Birds Around Me (BAM) and Percevia™ smart search. The new smart search functionality enables users to identify birds expertly, while BAM exclusively displays species found in the user's GPS area. The Time of Day search feature has also been added, allowing users to filter birds by activity intervals during different times of the day or night (Cathemeral, Crepuscular, Diurnal, Nocturnal).

With a vast database encompassing 343 common and rare species endorsed by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), iBird UK Pro caters to both seasoned birders and novices. The app's avian matching system allows users to search for birds based on color, location, shape, habitat, or any of the 38 identification field marks available. Additionally, iBird UK Pro boasts comprehensive species pages with 1,200 bird songs, 1,500 high-resolution bird photographs, 900 hand-drawn composite illustrations, and over 350 range maps.

Version 10.06 introduces iCloud support for backing up and sharing photos, notes, and favorites across multiple devices. Moreover, a migration feature from Dropbox to iCloud has been incorporated into the latest release.
